Democratic Congressman Jose Serrano thinks it may be time to repeal this amendment that was ratified by the requisite number of states way back on February 26, 1951. I suppose it was just a matter of time until some totally obscure no name back bench Democratic Congress-person (José Serrano has sponsored 100 bills since Jan 5, 1993. of which 93 haven’t made it out of committee and 1 were successfully enacted) was going to try and get their 15 seconds of fame by proposing something like this particular type of legislation.
