ELEMENTARY EPIDEMIC: 11 Uncovered Videos Show School Children Performing Praises to Obama

Big Hollywood has already posted a couple disturbing videos of young school children singing/speaking praises to President Obama, but when eleven more dropped in our email box it came as quite a shock. What seemed like an aberration now appears to be a troubling pattern. Maybe “epidemic” is a better word. Each one of the videos below is creepier than the last because the further down you go, the younger the children — brace yourself for kindergartners – except for the last and most disturbing video, which you have to see to believe. [Just in case anyone you know was wondering how deeply this cult of Obama (peace prize be upon him) has sunk into our public school system here’s a whole bunch of videos you can pass on to family and friends…ed]

Health Care Reform Assumes Millions Would Pay Fine Rather Than Get Coverage

The health care reform bill awaiting debate in the House assumes millions of workers and employers would rather pay $167 billion in fines than purchase or provide adequate coverage, according to a recent analysis, raising questions about whether the plan does enough to make insurance affordable. Though the bill is estimated to expand coverage from the current 83 percent to 96 percent of legal U.S. residents, the windfall of projected penalty payments also exposes a potential contradiction in reform. A significant part of the plan to expand coverage relies financially on fines from the uninsured. [“Little issues” like this are why Pelosi and Reid are in such a big hurry to ram this garbage through as quick as they can with as little scrutiny as possible…ed]

White House downplays Election Day

Heated referendums over same-sex partnership laws in Maine and Washington powered voter turnouts today in an off-year election that included closely watched races in New Jersey, Virginia and New York. Pundits were debating what the results could mean for President Obama, who campaigned for Democrats in governors’ races in New Jersey and Virginia and in an upstate New York congressional race. But the White House sought to put some distance between the president and the outcome. “We don’t look at either of the gubernatorial races or the congressional race as something that portends a lot for our legislative efforts going forward or our political prospects in 2010,” White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said at his daily briefing. [Baghdad Bob Gibbs says the ass kicking the Democrats received in New Jersey and Virginia were really no big whoop and certainly no reflection of the hard left policies of the Obama (peace prize be upon him) administration. Sure thing there ‘Bob’ especially after the effort Obama (peace prize be upon him) put in campaigning for the Democrats in those states. Come to think of it, it seems like just yesterday when Obama (peace prize be upon him) pushed hard for the Summer Olympics to come to Chicago only to have the city get booted out of the running in the very first round…ed]

Forget the 2-1 Spin; It Was a Rout

The Democrats did not lose a 2-1 squeaker last night. They lost two huge races, saw an overall evaporation of 25 basis points of support — and lost by nearly 500,000 cumulative votes in the three high-profile elections. Or put another way, Republicans won two races decided by millions of voters — and Democrats won a small race dominated by party operatives. In addition, the GOP made some historic gains in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Washington state special elections to boot. In the context of Bob McDonnell’s huge win in Virginia and Chris Christie’s surprisingly comfortable win in New Jersey, of all places, the fact that Bill Owens scraped up enough votes to win NY-23 is a testament to the superior political insider maneuvering of the Democrats over the Republicans. So you mean the GOP party apparatus stinks? Well yes, but I think we knew that already. [The Americanthinker.com post of the day…ed]

Revenge of the middle class

The elections today should send a simple message to the Obama administration and congressional Democrats: You lost the middle class, and you won’t get them back until you fundamentally change your legislative agenda. During last year’s campaign, President Barack Obama consistently stressed how his policies were going to help the middle class. (SNIP) Obama won the middle class (or at least did better than he should have) in the last election, and that is one of the most important reasons why he won the election. Now, a year into his presidency, the middle class is turning on the Obama administration, and more importantly, the Democrats in Congress. [The last presidential election showed the world the U.S. is not a racist country. The elections last night showed the Democrats we aren’t a bunch of wild eyed socialists either…ed]

The Obama magic has faded

All politics is local, they say, and Tuesday’s off-off-year elections certainly had their local angles. Jon Corzine has been a terrible governor even by the undemanding standards of terribly governed New Jersey. Creigh Deeds, though he looked good to Democratic Party recruiters not long ago, turned out to be an undistinguished campaigner, more driven by the concerns of Washington Post editorialists than of Virginia voters. And NY-23 Republican nomineee Dede Scozzafava was a bizarre choice, bizarre enough to inspire a seemingly quixotic third-party run by Doug Hoffman. But these local angles weren’t enough to keep the Obama administration out of the races. President Obama barnstormed Virginia and New Jersey — and pumped money and Joe Biden into NY-23 in support of Democratic candidate Bill Owens. (One suspects Owens would have preferred more money and less Biden.) And — until it started looking as if they might lose — the Obama people were suggesting that these races would seal their mandate and encourage congressional wafflers to toe the line on health-care reform. Not so much, as it turns out. In fact, the elections underscored Obama’s political weakness just one year after his triumphant victory over Republican moderate John McCain. Killing Capitalism Soros-Style

Having purchased, rented, or placed a down payment on all the political influence up for sale in America, leftist troublemaker George Soros now plans to ramp up his war on markets worldwide by creating an “Institute for New Economic Thinking” (INET). “The system we have now has actually broken down, only we haven’t quite recognized it and so you need to create a new one and this is the time to do it,” Soros told the Financial Times last month. In an interview with Der Spiegel last year Soros said European-style socialism “is exactly what we need now. I am against market fundamentalism. I think this propaganda that government involvement is always bad has been very successful — but also very harmful to our society.” [George Soros is enemy number one when it comes to America, our Constitution, our heritage and our future. This bastard OWNS the Democrat party, funds dozens of far left organizations operating in the U.S. and has made it his goal to bring this country to its knees with the gleeful assistance of Obama (peace prize be upon him), Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the radical Democrats in Congress…ed]

A divided party: Progressives threaten Democratic lawmakers

MoveOn.org is sending out emails today seeking more contributions for its campaign to defeat any Democratic senator who does not fully support Obamacare. Yesterday the left-wing activist group asked members to contribute “to a primary challenge against any Democratic senator who helps Republicans block an up-or-down vote on health care reform.” Today, MoveOn reports that it has received $2 million in pledges in less than 24 hours. “It’s a clear sign of how angry progressives would be at any Democrat who helps filibuster reform,” MoveOn executive director Justin Ruben writes in the new email. “The larger the war chest we can offer a potential challenger, the stronger the signal we’ll send to conservative Democrats,” Ruben continues. “So we’re setting a huge new goal: $3 million in total pledges by the end of the week. That’s plenty to launch a serious primary challenge.” [MoveOn.org was created by and has been maintained with millions of George Soros dollars and is one of his favorite attack dogs. They aren’t content with going after Republicans, now they’ll start trying to pick off any Democrats who aren’t radical enough for their tastes…ed]

Transsexual Jesus sparks protests

The protest was held outside the Tron Theatre, where Jesus, Queen of Heaven – in which Christ is a transsexual woman – is being staged. It is part of the Glasgay! arts festival, a celebration of Scotland’s gay, bi-sexual and transsexual culture. Festival organisers said it had not intended to incite or offend anyone. The Christian protesters gathered outside the theatre ahead of the opening night of the production on Tuesday. Jesus, Queen of Heaven, which runs until Saturday, is written and performed by transsexual playwright Jo Clifford. [Let me get this straight (no pun intended), if one were to comment on the homosexual/transsexual lifestyle it is considered a hate crime and they are branded a homophobe or some such nasty name but when the homosexual/transsexual folks pull this kind of crap it’s called “art”…ed]

Maine votes to repeal same-sex marriage

Cecelia Burnett and Ann Swanson had already set their wedding date. When they joined about 1,000 other gay marriage supporters for an election night party in a Holiday Inn ballroom, they hoped to celebrate the vote that would make it possible. Instead, they went home at midnight, dejected and near tears after a failed bid to make Maine the first state to approve same-sex marriage at the ballot box. “I’m ready to start crying,” said Burnett, a 58-year-old massage therapist, walking out of the ballroom with Swanson at her side. “I don’t understand what the fear is, why people are so afraid of this change. “It hurts. It hurts personally,” she said. “It’s a personal rejection of us and our relationship, and I don’t understand what the fear is.” [The uber blue state of Maine joins the other 30 states who have voted down homosexual marriage. I wonder who the homosexuals are gonna demonize for this defeat before they begin their street riots ala California after Prop 8 passed last year?…ed]

Welcome to the “Post-Obama” Era!

Rarely are the American people fooled as completely and utterly as was the case on November 4, 2008. That date, which will live in infamy along side December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001 as watershed awful, was the date on which 69,000,000 Americans acted foolishly and voted with their hearts rather than with their minds. Thinking minds should have alerted the American electorate of the dangers inherent in voting for a candidate with no significant experience, a history of unsavory associations, no accomplishments in nearly 50 years of life, and obvious disdain for American culture and history. Alas, the media-inspired- hatred for George W. Bush was so intense that 69,000,000 voters fell for the smoke and mirrors and the fairy tale promise of CHANGE, without so much as a clue as to what that change might represent. [Too bad we couldn’t have a do over now that what everyone with a brain warned the country about with this Obama guy (peace prize be upon him) has indeed come true…ed]

Democrats feeling angst over 2010

Vulnerable House and Senate Democrats want their leaders to skip the party’s controversial legislative agenda for next year to help save their seats in Congress. In the run-up to the 2010 midterm elections, they don’t want to be forced to vote on climate change, immigration reform and gays in the military, which they say should be set aside so Congress can focus on jobs and the economy. “It’s hard; the most important issue in front of us is the economy right now, and that’s where most of us really want to stay focused, the economy and jobs, that’s what our constituency is concerned about,” said Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D), who is facing a tough race next year in Arkansas. [Pelosi and Reid couldn’t give a crap about “centrist” Democrats, in fact they would like to see every one of the “Blue Dogs” lose their seats to loony left wingers in 2010 so they wouldn’t have to deal with those who don’t automatically toe the radically liberal line any more…ed]

Carly Fiorina: Why I’m running for Senate

This is a unique time in our history. People are finding it difficult to be optimistic about the future when they’re uncertain if they’ll have a job tomorrow. Federal spending is out of control as our national debt soars. We are asking what legacy we’ll leave our kids, besides bills they can’t pay? We are looking to our leaders in Washington for answers and action. But we get neither, and as a result we are rightfully frustrated and angry. I look at the United States Senate and ask: does California have the representation we deserve? The clear answer is no. Barbara Boxer has been a senator for almost 18 years. During that time, she’s only gotten three laws enacted – naming a river in Virginia, a courthouse in Fresno, and bringing bridge repair money to the Bay Area, where she is from. One piece of real work in 18 years isn’t much of a track record. That’s not good enough for California. [Dump Boxer now California. The stream of far left radicals coming out of that state who are hell bent on screwing up our country must come to an end. This would be a great start…ed]

Illinois data on stimulus-related jobs saved, created don’t add up

More than $4.7 million in federal stimulus aid so far has been funneled to schools in North Chicago, and state and federal officials say that money has saved the jobs of 473 teachers. Problem is, the district employs only 290 teachers. “That other number, I don’t know where that came from,” said Lauri Hakanen, superintendent of North Chicago Community Unit Schools District 187. The Obama administration last week released the first round of data designed to underpin the worthiness of its economic stimulus plan, which so far has directed $1.25 billion to Illinois schools. That money has helped save or create 14,330 school jobs in the state, the administration claimed. But those statistics, compiled initially by the Illinois State Board of Education, appear riddled with anomalies that raise questions about their validity, according to a Tribune analysis of district-by-district stimulus spending and other state data. Many local school officials were perplexed by the stimulus data attributed to their districts. [Even Obama’s (peace prize be upon him) home state runs the BS flag up the pole on this stimulus program and jobs saved and created nonsense…ed]

STIMULUS WATCH: Salary raise counted as saved job

President Barack Obama’s economic recovery program saved 935 jobs at the Southwest Georgia Community Action Council, an impressive success story for the stimulus plan. Trouble is, only 508 people work there. The Georgia nonprofit’s inflated job count is among persisting errors in the government’s latest effort to measure the effect of the $787 billion stimulus plan despite White House promises last week that the new data would undergo an “extensive review” to root out errors discovered in an earlier report. About two-thirds of the 14,506 jobs claimed to be saved under one federal office, the Administration for Children and Families at Health and Human Services, actually weren’t saved at all, according to a review of the latest data by The Associated Press. Instead, that figure includes more than 9,300 existing employees in hundreds of local agencies who received pay raises and benefits and whose jobs weren’t saved. That type of accounting was found in an earlier AP review of stimulus jobs, which the Obama administration said was misleading because most of the government’s job-counting errors were being fixed in the new data. [And the beat goes on with this saved and created jobs bullshit coming out of the Obama (peace prize be upon him) administration…ed]

After a flurry of stimulus spending, questionable projects pile up

The $787 billion stimulus bill was passed in February and was promised as a job saver and economy booster. Here is where some of the money went:

– $300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state.

– $30 million for a spring training baseball complex for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.

– $11 million for Microsoft to build a bridge connecting its two headquarter campuses in Redmond, Wash., which are separated by a highway.

– $430,000 to repair a bridge in Iowa County, Wis., that carries 10 or fewer cars per day.

– $800,000 for the John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pa., serving about 20 passengers per day, to build a backup runway. [Your hard earned money just pissed away by the Democrats like it was nothing. Keep this in mind come election day 2010…ed]

Plea deal in abortion scuffle

One of two women accused of scrapping with an anti-abortion protester in front of Flagstaff City Hall has decided to accept six months of unsupervised probation to make the charges go away. Denise Redsteer, 48, accepted a “deferred prosecution” Friday in Flagstaff Municipal Court, said City Prosecutor Lisa Stankovich. Deferred prosecution does not admit guilt, and if Redsteer successfully completes the terms of her probation, the charges against her will be dismissed. (SNIP) The case began when the two women approached anti-abortion advocate Johnny Wallace, 69. Wallace had been standing in front of City Hall with a billboard sign espousing his views on abortion. Witnesses told police that the two women approached Wallace and began to try to take and destroy the sign he was holding. Wallace had to physically restrain the women. Minor injuries were reported. $18 vehicle fee proposed to help state parks

Tired of constant threats to close California’s state parks, a coalition of environmental and nonprofit groups proposed a ballot initiative Tuesday that would charge motorists an additional $18 to register their vehicles in exchange for free admission to the state parks. The registration fee would apply to all California vehicles, including motorcycles and recreational vehicles. Larger commercial vehicles, mobile homes and permanent trailers would be exempt. In exchange, Californians would no longer pay day use or admission fees at any state park. Park visitors now pay up to $125 for an annual pass and from $10 to $15 a day at most parks. Out-of-state vehicles would pay the full entrance fee. [Hey look, they found another way to tax the folks in California. You just know that the entrance fee will be reinstated soon after this initiative passes because the state legislature will tap into this fund the second the money starts rolling in…ed]

Police: 3 ND college students found dead in pond

The bodies of three missing North Dakota college softball players were found Tuesday inside a Jeep after authorities, aided by signals from the women’s last desperate phone calls, spotted the vehicle submerged in a farm pond. Police Lt. Rod Banyai said officers were investigating the cause of the deaths and autopsies were planned. He said he believed the women were on a stargazing trip in the Jeep when they called for help, but he did not know whether it already was under water when the calls were made. “At this time, foul play is not suspected,” Banyai said Tuesday night. Investigators were working to determine whether the vehicle had any defects or whether alcohol was involved, he said. [Such a sad ending for these young ladies just starting out in life. Quote of the day.

One thing I should contextualize – the President obviously got updates about the election last night. He did not watch – as I told some of you – did not watch election returns. I wouldn’t read a ton into that since he didn’t actually watch election returns when he was running. If you did watch the movie on HBO – we called him and told him he won Iowa. He did not watch election returns.

-White House Press Secretary “Baghdad” Bob Gibbs, trying to convince people that Mr. Michelle Obama didn’t watch election returns last night.
