Don’t miss reading this one folks.
“There’s something happening here…”
It began with the tea parties. People of all ages joined in huge protests against the massive spending approved in Washington. They gathered by the thousands in cities and towns from coast to coast to speak out against the huge stimulus plan. Yet, for months not much was covered by the mainstream media and President Barack Obama told the press that he didn’t know anything about the tea parties.
“What it is ain’t exactly clear…”
AARP forced to call Obama a liar even though he was telling the absolute truth for once.
President Obama misspoke and did not intend to mislead the public when he said AARP had endorsed his health care legislation pending in Congress, the White House said Wednesday. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters that Obama did not mean to misinform Americans when he said Tuesday at a town hall in Portsmouth, N.H., that the senior lobby had backed his legislation.
The most ominous signal yet for the Obama health-care plan emerged in the poll by Scott Rasmussen released today. While public support for the plan fell to a new low (42 percent support, 53 percent oppose — down five points in two weeks), the elderly emerged as the strongest opposition group. Those over 65 rejected the plan by 39 percent to 56 percent, while almost half — 46 percent — said they were “strongly opposed” to it. The group that supports the plan most strongly are those likely to be least affected — voters under the age of 30, 67 percent of whom support the proposals.
I think we can figure out what the Obama administration is REALLY trying to do here.
Federal authorities have launched an effort to detect lone attackers who may be contemplating politically charged assaults similar to the recent murders of a Kansas abortion doctor and a Holocaust museum security guard. The effort, known as the “Lone Wolf Initiative,” was started shortly after President Obama’s inauguration, in part because of a rising level of hate speech and surging gun sales. “Finding those who might plan and act alone, the so-called lone offenders … will only be prevented by good intelligence, the seamless exchange of information among law enforcement at every level, and vigilant citizens reporting suspicious activity,” said Michael Heimbach, the FBI’s assistant director for counterterrorism.
Sen. Arlen Specter, facing more jeers and taunts during another town hall meeting Wednesday, sought to defuse tensions about health care reform debate with a few jokes. (SNIP) “Traditionally people who come to town meetings have objections,” Specter said after the State College event. “They may not be representative of America, but they are significant, and their views have to be taken into account.”
Speaking of polling on this government attempt to take over American’s health care.
Public support for the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low as just 42% of U.S. voters now favor the plan. That’s down five points from two weeks ago and down eight points from six weeks ago. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that opposition to the plan has increased to 53%, up nine points since late June. [That’s because millions of people have downloaded and read through this Obamination and they know this administration is full of liars from the top on down…ed]

Was this some kind of devious advertising gimmick or really a three digit typo?
It was an online deal that could not be beat; a 52-inch Samsung flat screen television for only $9. Best Buy offered the deal online and many people took advantage of it, but the deal is not being honored. Long lines of people formed outside the Best Buy in Hunters Creek in Osceola County and many told Eyewitness News they were not happy. They all lined up for an amazing deal: a 52-inch TV for $9.99.
America’s golden age of race relations, which began when Barack Obama won the presidency in 2008 with a seven-point lead over Republican Sen. John McCain, came to a tragic end a couple of weeks ago in July 2009. That’s when, according to the left, the country that had elected him awoke from its state of denial, or stupor, and realized, to its unrelieved horror, that the man it had chosen was … black. How else for them to explain why his poll numbers slipped from astronomical to just about 50 percent, his approval ratings for his pet projects fell even further and his golden-tongued eloquence failed to persuade?
Does this seem fishy to you? Over the weekend, Democratic Rep. David Scott of Atlanta yelled at one of his constituents, a urologist, who had the audacity to ask Scott about his support for Obamacare. Yesterday, CNN had a segment featuring Scott and the urologist, and Scott didn’t come out looking too good. Now, today, just when Rep. Scott could use a little sympathy from the public, we get a report that Scott has been a victim of a hate-crime–a swastika was spraypainted on a sign outside of his office.
Obama’s skill at creating diversionary targets seems to be failing him these days.
President Barack Obama thinks of himself as a master political manipulator. And why shouldn’t he? Since 2004, Obama has catapulted himself from unknown Senate candidate to occupant of the White House. And he has done so largely by mastering the art of diversion.
Red hot auto sales under the U.S. government’s “cash for clunkers” incentive began to cool as dealer inventories tightened and showroom traffic showed signs of leveling off from its frantic pace of a week ago. One industry analysis released on Tuesday forecast a steady decline in “clunker” related business even though the Obama administration and Congress added $2 billion to the program in recent days with hopes of matching the success of its first weeks.
A new Web site launched Monday by the Obama administration to rebut alleged disinformation about the administration’s efforts to reform the health care system claims that reform “would not add one penny to the deficit”–despite the fact that the two health care reform bills that have been analyzed by the Congressional Budget Office are predicted by the CBO to increase the national debt by $239 billion and $1.042 trillion respectively.
The media dug deep into other candidate’s backgrounds but gave Barack Hussein Obama a free pass.
In the last 18 years, highly personal information has been published about presidential candidates, including divorce and alimony details, drunk driving arrest records, college grades, urinalysis results, prostate cancer surgery – even details about George W. Bush’s hemorrhoid troubles. The media have dredged up medical, military, college and detailed records for Republican and Democratic Party candidates in at least the last five elections. Candidates were subject to intense scrutiny of their health conditions, academic performance and military careers. However, while such private information about other candidates was divulged, more than 440,000 concerned citizens still have yet to see President Obama present his elusive “long-form” birth certificate and several other documents that remain unreleased or otherwise blocked from the public eye.
Mattresses are soaked with blood. Entire dormitories are blackened by fire. Facilities are destroyed and abandoned medical supplies are littered about. These are the scenes of devastation after a riot at a Southern California prison over the weekend that shut down part of the institution and injured about 175 inmates, some critically. The images chart the mayhem and violence at the California Institution for Men in Chino.
Quote of the day.
My answer is that if the private insurance companies are providing a good bargain, and if the public option has to be self-sustaining…then I think private insurers should be able to compete. They do it all the time. I mean, if you think about it, UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? No, they are. It’s the Post Office that’s always having problems.
-Barack Obama, trying to explain, with his foot in his mouth, why we shouldn’t worry about the government offering a health plan to compete with private health insurance companies.
